Short version: your screenshots and notes stay on your computer. We only get what we need to sell you a license and answer your emails.

Who is responsible

Mykyta Yefimov, Spain, is responsible for your personal data (the “controller”). Contact: support@getsnapik.com.

The app

Snapik works on your computer. Screenshots, marks, notes and settings are stored locally and never sent to us. The app has no analytics, tracking or ads. When you activate a license, the app sends the license key and a device label to Lemon Squeezy to check that the key is valid.

The website

getsnapik.com uses no cookies, analytics or ads, and the fonts are served from our own domain. Our host, Vercel, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type in server logs to deliver and protect the site. Your language and theme choice is saved in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device.

Purchases

Lemon Squeezy processes your order as Merchant of Record under its own privacy policy. From Lemon Squeezy we receive what we need to deliver and support your license: your name, email, country and order details. We never see your card details.

Emails

If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply and help you.

Legal basis and how long we keep data

  • Order and license data: needed to fulfil our contract with you. Kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • Support emails: our legitimate interest in answering you. Deleted when no longer needed.
  • Server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. Kept for a short time by Vercel.

Where data is processed

Vercel and Lemon Squeezy may process data outside the EU, for example in the United States. They use the safeguards EU law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, or to restrict or stop using it. Write to support@getsnapik.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or the data protection authority in your country.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page with a new date.
